I have worked in the recruitment industry for over 25 years, focussing on the Manufacturing industry. Over recent years, I have carved a specialist niche recruiting into techno-commercial roles in Manufacturing, most specifically in Automotive. I have had particular success in placing at Director level, both in the Automotive OE and Aftermarket sectors, sales roles for general manufacturing and also Plant management and project management. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals, and I hold a Diploma in Recruitment Practice. I enjoy business relationships with some of the largest employer brands in the UK, having placed successfully at various levels.

I am also passionate about public speaking, coaching for performance and managing corporate stress.

I know I am not the only person with views about service, ethics and standards, but this blog is my subjective viewpoint that will no doubt only “Scratch the Surface” of the industry, but will hopefully go some way to bring change and initiate challenging thought.

I will blog about anything and everything that is relevant to my context as a recruitment professional – Views on the industry, exciting job opportunities,  advice for candidates, information for recruiting clients.

During my time in industry, I have probably experienced all of the best and the worst that the recruitment industry can provide. I hope I am able to add some value through my views and experiences!
