Urgent new job! Product Manager – National Aftermarket Buying Group

Our client is one of the largest parts factoring buying groups in the UK aftermarket.

Due to the continually changing dynamic of the aftermarket, they now need an experienced Product Manager to join their team. This is a national campaign, with the successful candidate being based on-site locally with one of the buying group members.

Job Description – Analysis of products and pricing for keeping them market related and competitive.

  • Regularly collate market intelligence from a variety of sources to make sure they stay competitive in the marketplace. 
  • Highlight discrepancies with current pricing and forward to the relevant supplier via our product managers. Follow up and circulate results. 
  • Collate all price challenges from colleagues and submit to relevant product managers 
  • Perform Gap analysis on current ranges 
  • Various other tasks associated with product and pricing

 The Candidate

 Excellent communication skills at all levels and in all forms.Strong analytical skills including Excel, Access databases and large data files Excellent I.T skills to include power point presentations. Enthusiastic with a pro-active driven attitude. The ability to manage your time effectively. Able to meet deadlines. Knowledge of the Automotive industry.

Exciting new Sales Manager job – Automotive Tier 1

We are delighted to work with a very well-known manufacturer of sensors and electronic devices to find a senior sales person for their powertrain electronics division.

This is a key position, with Ford as the major client, and requires full commercial interface with the client across all manufactuirng programs.

The main criteria for the role is previous experience of managing Ford as a key account. The ideal candidate should ideally have an engineering or Tier 1 manfuacturing background, with a good track record in sales or business development. Ideally, you should be based in the South East.

A good remuneration package is on offer, there are very good career prospects and the team is stable and mature.
