Sales Director – Automotive Tier 1

We are delighted to be representing a major and very well-known Tier 1 supplier for the automotive industry.

Due to internal changes, they are now seeking a new Sales Director to take the lead of their OE sales team consisting of both Key Account Managers and New Business Managers.

You will take strategic responsibility for delivering incremental sales and account growth whilst establishing credibility in new automotive market sectors, as well as delivering the commercial elements of the company’s proposition e.g. price proposals, programme management and contractual issues. You will play an active role in the senior management team.

The ideal candidate will be a Career sales person with Gravitas, impact and credibility. A strong Relationship builder you will understand how to network and take a strategic approach to developing new business – segment and target a relatively small number of high value opportunities with great strategic fit. Past experience of managing a sizeable sales team in an automotive manufacturing context is imperative.
